It's back! And we are enormously excited to invite you to a crafty festive gathering!
Hosted by Aileen & Team SYC, you are invited to join us at the beautiful Garvock House Hotel in Dunfermline for a day of creativity and chat amongst your fellow makers, stitchers, knitters and hookers (folk who crochet!).
You will be welcomed with a hot cuppa and a goody bag filled with all you need to make a crafty project to make on the day - if you can fit it in amongst the chat! Later, you will have the joy of being served afternoon tea (buffet style), and some surprises (and prizes!) along the way too.
So, join us & escape for the day. You don't need to be 'creative', you are most welcome to come along us just because it sounds lovely! And if you wish to bring a friend, do. Whatever makes you happy. Everyone is welcome.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
ATTENDING ON YOUR OWN: Most of the people attending this event have booked on their own too, so you'll be in good company! Team SYC will direct you through the hotel to our meeting place, there'll be a table plan so you have a place to start. If you've booked a couple of tickets, we'll group you at one table. And if you wish to sit with anyone in particular, make a note for us in the "Special Instructions" box at your shopping cart. We will do our best to accommodate all requests.
REGISTRATION: We will have a registration desk open from 10.45am inside the hotel - I don't think it's necessary to arrive too early on a Sunday morning in November! If you come to the front door, you will be directed. You do not need to bring printed tickets, we will check you off at the desk and issue you with a name badge that will help us all remember names. The event will finish at 3pm.
WILL IT BE BUSY: We will be seated in a room that can hold 120 people seated, however we are only selling 90 tickets so that it feels more spacious and comfortable for everyone.
WHAT DO I WEAR: It's not a formal occasion, so if you want to wear your Christmas jumper and jeans, do. If you fancy wearing a me-made frock, or not, then do that too! There will be an unattended coat rail at the door of the suite if you need it.
PARKING: There's plenty of parking at Garvock House, and it's also within about 15mins walking distance of both the bus and train stations in Dunfermline.
ACCESSIBILITY AND OTHER NEEDS: There are a couple of steps up to the front door of the hotel. If you need ramped access, that is available and you will be directed by staff at the front door. There is an accessible toilet at the entrance to the suite.
FOOD AND DRINK: You will be offered a hot cuppa and shortbread on arrival. Afternoon tea will be served at 1pm, and will be served buffet style to include sandwiches, home made scones, warm sausage rolls and fresh baked cakes for you to choose from! We can easily cater for any vegan/gluten/dairy requirements, just let us know when you book by making a note in the "Special Instructions" box on the shopping cart page.
BAR: The bar within the Rosemalen Suite will be open throughout our event from 11am-3pm if you wish to purchase additional drinks.
WHAT TO BRING: You can bring (or wear!) your knitting or hand-sewing if you wish. A craft project will be included in your goody bag along with any other tools you might need at your table - so you can simply come along and enjoy the event.
