Calico is a plain-woven fabric made from unbleached, unshrunk cotton, still containing cotton seeds. It has a myriad of uses in dressmaking, craft & furnishing. Calico is traditionally used to make a toile (First attempt) at a garment to you can check the fit. 
 
Composition:
- 100% Cotton
- approx. 150cm wide
- 208gsm - medium weight - very little drape - semi sheer  
 
Cutting:
Our dressmaking fabrics are priced/sold in 25cm units. Therefore if you wish to purchase 1m, then add 4 units to your cart. Product will be cut as one continuous piece.
 
Wash & Care Guide
Calico should be washed at 30 degrees. Loomstate fabric will shrink by around 10% on first wash and a further 3% thereafter. Cool tumble dry. We strongly recommend testing a small piece first to be sure.
